GRACIOUS STYLE INTRODUCES NEW SUMMER/FALL 2002 COLLECTIONS OF FINE TABLE LINENS AND TABLEWARE

July 17, 2002 -- Gracious Style, the catalog and online boutique of fine table linens, unveiled its new collections for Summer/Fall 2002 this week. The firm introduced new styles of linens and monograms and greatly expanded its range of accessories.
     The new summer collections are centered around two themes, Garden and Seaside. For the Garden theme, new collections include Audubon decoupage placemats of exotic birds, Chelsea floral table linens, and Butterfly wooden salad servers.
     In the Seaside theme, the company introduced Frutti di Mare crystal engraved with sea life, Caribe decoupage placemats featuring tropical fish, and Rainbow striped linens.
     Looking ahead to fall, the garden theme is reinterpreted with richer colors. New collections in this vein include the Astor vine damask linens in rich gold and brown tones, handpainted Bird tree candleholders, and the fan-shaped Four Seasons dinnerware.
     Separately, the new catalog features three new styles of monogramming. There is the angular "Hexagonal" style for modern and Art Deco settings, the sophisticated "Claridge" alphabet, and the flourishing "Annabelle" style for a luxurious, traditional look.
     "In designing our new collections, we worked hard to blend the vivid colors of the tropics and the warmth of the summer and fall seasons with the luxurious textures for which Gracious Style is known," notes Carolina Con, co-founder of Gracious Style.
